Geocel Contractor Straw Expanding Foam is a moisture curing polyurethane foam suitable for filling gaps and voids in and around the home. As it cures it expands to fill all surface irregularities and once fully cured can be cut, sawn, sanded, painted or plastered over.
Typical applications include gaps around door and window frames, pipe entries through brickwork and walls, insulating water pipes and tanks, and gaps around floorboards and skirting boards.

Preparation
Ensure gaps to be filled are free from dust, dirt and loose particles. Surfaces to be sealed should be moistened prior to application (a water minister is ideal for this purpose).
Application
- Wear gloves and protective eyewear during use.
- Shake the can vigorously to mix the contents.
- Screw the applicator nozzle onto the valve.
- Holding the can in the upside down position, press the trigger on the applicator nozzle to extrude foam. Only fill the cavity, as the foam will expand further after application.
- The foam will be cured in 2 hours, excess foam can be cut away if required.
- After application, remove and the nozzle and clean.
Note: If used externally, this product should be protected from UV light. This can be achieved by painting, sealing or plastering over the cured material.
