Additional information

Directions

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease and other loose material. Cut the cartridge seal and screw on the nozzle which should be cut to your required size. Using a skeleton gun, apply the sealant into the gap or joint ensuring a good solid fill. When sealing around baths fill the bath half full of water to provide the mid point for joint movement; empty bath after sealant is fully cured. Curing time is approximately 3mm per 24 hours at 23°C. Tool using a spatula wetted with clean water within 5 minutes of application. In deep joints reduce the joint depth to 50% of the joint width using expanding foam or joint backer rod.

Limitations

Among others, it is not recommended for application on concrete, marble, corrosive metals such as: lead, copper and galvanised steel, PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates. Curing is subject to humidity and temperature. Not suitable for aquaria, continuous water immersion or in combination with chlorides. Not suitable for movement joints, natural stone and mirrors. Not recommended for direct contact with the perimeter of insulation glass, the edges of laminated safety glass or the bedding-in of double glazed units. Yellowing can occur in areas closed of UV light. Compatibility and adhesion tests prior to application are recommended. It is the user's responsibility to determine suitability. Store between +5°C and +25°C in cool, dry conditions.
