Trade Mate Roofers Seal, wet or dry surface sealant is a single component, high performance elastomeric sealant for most roofing applications. Use on wet or dry surfaces. 
Mildew resistant May be painted over after 24 hours. Asphalt compatible Versatile, ideal with a range if substrates including lead, bitumen and galvanized steel.

Preparation

Ensure gaps and cracks to be filled are free from dust, dirt and grease.

Application

  • Remove nozzle and cut off end of cartridge.
  • Replace nozzle and cut the tip to the required width.
  • Place the cartridge in a cartridge gun and apply material into gap and crack to be filled.
  • Ensure roofers seal makes fill contact with the sides and back of the joint.

Note: When applied to wet surfaces tooling is necessary to ensure that a good bond with the surface is formed. Always tool down immediately following application using a spatula or a piece of wood wetted with a dilute soap solution.

Clean Up

Excess sealant may be cleaned off whilst in an uncured state using a dry disposable cloth. Alcohol based solvents can be used to clean tools.
