Toupret White Glazing Putty is a long-lasting, flexible product, compatible with all paints and coatings for the glazing of wooden window frames. Glazing Putty can be applied to a wide range of previously primed woods for single glaze fitting. The product can be overcoated with paint, varnish or preservative coat once a skin has formed, which is approximately 6 to 8 days.

For putty and back putty, apply with a putty knife for single glazing glass from 4 to 6mm thick. The minimum thickness of the back putty must be 3mm, the minimum length of the fillet must be 9mm. Clean tools with white spirit after use. Do not apply at a temperature below 5 degrees Celsius or above 35 degrees Celsius. Substrates must be hard, cohesive, clean, sound, and dry. Wear gloves and glasses whilst applying Toupret White Glazing Putty and always wear a dust mask when sanding. For more advice on product application, head into your local Brewers Decorator Centre.
