Preparation
Ensure the area being worked on is free from loose material, grease and oil. The background should be dampened to aid in the bonding as well to avoid rapid drying out.
Application
- Empty the cement onto a smooth, even surface and mix cement thoroughly with water until the right consistency is achieved.
- The normal mix ratio is 3 to 4 parts of Quick Set Cement to 1 part of clean water.
- Do not over-water as this can affect the set and weaken the mix.
- Once the material has been fully mixed, it should be applied immediately to the area being filled with firm pressure.
