Supporting Turkey and Syria Appeals

Following the devastating news of 17,000 lives lost so far in recent earthquakes, The Brewers Foundation have made a substantial donation to the Disaster Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Turkey Syria Earthquake Appeal and a further £2,000 to Samara’s Aid Appeal.

Survivors need urgent aid after the earthquake struck with no warning across Turkey and Syria. People have been left with nothing and are in desperate need for shelter, water, food and blankets to keep warm.

DEC has set up the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal to help those who have been affected and the Government will be matching the first £5 million raised by the British public.
