Brewers CWD Doing their Part for the Local Community

March 16th, 2022

Rather than almost perfect palettes of paint being disposed of with a local recycling company, Brewers donated two palettes of paint to the St Wilfrid’s Hospice Furniture Shop, where they could then sell the paint with all proceeds going to St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

Brewers Central Warehouse Distribution is a team dedicated to ensuring all Brewers customers receive the highest levels of service when ordering online. Thousands of litres of paint pass through CWD every day, serving painters and decorators across the country.

Sometimes however, an order doesn’t meet CWD’s high standards. This could be through faulty packaging, discontinued stock or an unexpected bespoke colour makes its way back to the warehouse. Tins of paint can easily pile up, so it’s crucial to find ways in which the paint can be donated to local communities…and as we all know a tin of paint can make a huge difference!

CWD Warehouse Manager Ben Daigneault said:

CWD have been donating to local charities and volunteer groups for many years where goods would have had to of been disposed of, and we are very happy to be able to continue to support and keep giving back to the community. Many of the colleagues here have ties across Eastbourne and beyond, and it’s great that we are able to help where we can.
