Get the Scandi Look with Albany! Muddy Stiletto Editor in Chief Shows you How

March 2nd, 2022

Brewers has recently collaborated with Muddy Stiletto’s Editor in Chief, Hero Brown, as she decided her living room needed a bit of a revamp. Albany paint was used to show how a feature wall can transform your space…once you have decided on a colour that is!

With a retro Scandi-vibe and all-round entertaining space, Hero wanted to create an impact the space deserved. Albany Durable Matt was chosen for its high durability in high traffic areas and comes in a wide range of colours to choose from. Choosing a colour can be tricky as Hero experienced, so treating yourself to a few testers is really important in the colour selection process.

We recommend painting your samples onto lining paper and placing them on the wall for a few days to see how it works in the light and space. As Hero experienced, painting all of your samples straight on the wall with white spaces in-between can make it incredibly difficult to see what impact the colour will have on the room.

Hero chose Albany Sandleheath, a muted pink to feel uplifting during the day and a warmer tone at night. The colour complements the carefully considered retro furniture and accessories, paying homage to the 50s and 60s architecture in Hero’s home.

A feature wall can be a simple and easy way to change the look of your room without breaking the bank, why not give it a go today? Browse the full range of Albany colours here or pick up your free colour card in store.
