Harry Stone from Brewers worked with painting and decorating contractor, F&KP Smyth from County Armagh in Northern Ireland to advise on a specialised project to rejuvenate a badly damaged motif on the tarmac outside St Colmcille Church in Holywood, Co Down.
Harry drew on his in-depth knowledge and expertise in high performance coatings, and specified Bradite’s CR27 Line Marking Paint to bring the worn church focal point back to its former glory. Bradite CR27 was chosen due to its suitability for external application, being resistant to water and oil with superior hardwearing properties such as strong adhesion and abrasion resistance.

Measuring approximately three metres in diameter, the motif required four 5 litre tins of Bradite CR27 Line Marking Paint, which was supplied from Brewers Milton Keynes branch in three contrasting, yet complementary RAL colours to complete the work.
Based on a combined alkyd and chlorinated rubber binder system, Bradite CR27 Line Marking Paint is surface dry in 10 minutes with a minimum one-hour overcoat time recommendation. Drying to an eggshell sheen, Bradite CR27 is suitable for application on asphalt, bitumen, concrete and brick, and on roads, runways, car parks and sports facilities.
