'Gymtastic' donation thanks to Brewers Northampton
May 24th, 2018
NCAAC Gymnastics were bowled head over heels thanks to an incredibly generous donation from Brewers Northampton.
Founded in 1863, NCAAC Gymnastics are the oldest gymnastics club in the UK, run voluntary using funds from membership fees and fundraising activities.
Back in April, Brewers Northampton branch manager, Stuart Bell, had the rare opportunity to take his two daughters to their gymnastics class. Parents were asked whether they had any fundraising ideas or knew anyone that could help with the expansion of the gymnasium... what a perfect opportunity to introduce the club to Brewers!
Stuart met with the club chairman Kevin Flynn, to discuss which areas needing re-decoration and measuring up for quantity.
Over 90L of paint was donated in total! With all of that paint the office, changing area, corridor, toilets, kitchen and gymnasium would all receive some love much needed love and attention. A selection of Albany paints were donated to NCAAC Gymnastics including Vinyl Matt, Durable Matt, Acrylic Eggshell and Super Gloss.
We can’t wait to see the transformation!
More photos to follow after the re-decoration is completed..
“On behalf of myself and my colleagues I would like to thank you and the Board of Directors of C. Brewer & Sons Ltd. for your company’s magnificent donation of all the paint and other decorating materials etc. that will enable us to completely redecorate our premises”, Kevin Flynn, NCAAC Gymnastics Chairman
