Brewers Decorator Academy Partners with STC Group to Deliver Introduction to Spray Course

The Brewers Decorator Academy were pleased to recently deliver an Introduction to Spray course at a new training location, working in collaboration with The STC Group at their Romford training centre.

This collaboration enabled Brewers Decorator Academy to deliver one of its commercial-focused Introduction to Spray courses outside of the usual Wolverhampton training facility, making the course more accessible to customers across London, Essex and the South East.

The STC Group is a specialist vocational training and recruitment provider based in Romford, delivering training to learners aged 18 and over. Their aim is to support learners into employment through multi-skilled construction courses, CSCS training, employment support, alongside Maths and English.

STC Group kindly opened their facilities to host the course, allowing the Brewers Decorator Academy to train five customers on the day. All attendees gained practical skills they can now build into productive work, helping them to offer more opportunities to their own customers.

The Introduction to Spray course is designed to help Brewers customers upskill, building confidence and knowledge across the key stages of airless, handheld and XVLP spraying.  As part of the day, Karen from the Brewers Decorator Academy delivered a hands-on Mirka Dexos sander and extractor demonstration, showcasing its use on doors and walls to support preparation techniques for spray finishing. Something the learners thoroughly enjoyed.

Once again, thank you to The STC Group for welcoming us into their training centre and supporting this collaboration. Partnerships like this allow the Brewers Decorator Academy to continue expanding access to high-quality and valuable training for decorators across the UK.
