Brewers Supports St Michael’s Hospice Shop With Albany Paint Donation
September 17th, 2026
A tired, outdated charity shop has been given a vibrant new
lease of life — all thanks to the generosity of Brewers.
St Michael's Hospice charity shop in Chineham wanted to add
modular fittings to make the most of every inch of space, and a fresh coat of
paint to bring the whole store to life. So, they turned to Brewers for support
and the team didn't disappoint.
Brewers Basingstoke stepped up with 60L of Albany paint,
colour-matched to Dulux in a Vinyl Soft Sheen finish, plus a full kit of
brushes and rollers to bring the vision to life. The result? A brighter,
bolder, more welcoming space that's ready to greet the local community.
Retail Business Manager, Colin Tanner was thrilled:
"We are extremely grateful to Brewers for their
generous paint and accessories donation, which has enabled us to refresh and
modernise our Chineham store. The transformation has created a brighter, more
welcoming environment for both our loyal supporters and new customers. As every
pound raised through our shop helps fund the hospice and the care we provide,
investments like this play an important role in helping us maximise sales and
support our community. Brewers' support has made a real difference, and we
sincerely thank them for their generosity."
Every can of paint donated means more support for the vital
care St Michael's Hospice provides — proof that a splash of colour can go a
long way.
