Colour in Covent Garden

June 15th, 2021

Covent Garden has used paint to celebrate one of the most colourful and vibrant celebrations, LGBTQ Pride. Covent Garden’s bollards have had a fresh coat of paint in a variety of different colours to celebrate Pride month which occurs in June and honours the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. Over 100 bollards were painted by Paul and Chris of Cronin and Millward Decorating Ltd to line the streets with rainbow. As Brewers has thousands of colours to choose from, Brewers Gillingham were more than happy to mix and supply the paint required. Bradite One Can was used in a Matt finish, a multi-purpose self-priming paint that was perfect for a tight deadline in a public space.
