Sporting their Brewers caps, Store Manager at Putney (Barnes), Paul Dalton, and his daughter Anna, were delighted to receive £200 from Brewers towards a cancer charity that is close to their hearts.

Anna ran the London Marathon earlier this year and London Regional Manager, Kate Jacob was kind enough to sponsor her on behalf of the company with the donation. Anna managed to complete the challenge in just over 6 hours.

The charity called Young Lives Versus Cancer supported Anna when she had cancer as a young child.

Paul said: “Young Lives Versus Cancer started off as a small charity in a tiny room at the Royal Marsden Hospital, and the reason I know this is because she was a patient there due to her receiving treatment for leukaemia when she was just over 2 years old. Now, as a fit 27-year-old, she was proud to raise money for them.”
