How Brewers Uckfield helped Oscar's Wish Foundation

Brewers’ customers Paul and Sara Moult visited branch manager Martin at Brewers Uckfield to ask for a generous favour. A bereavement room at Oscar’s Wish Foundation (OWF) could benefit from a lick of paint and replacement furniture for those spending time in this room. The OWF team were looking for help to raise funds to make the refurbishment of the Willow Room project possible.

Oscar's Wish Foundation (OWF) offers comfort and support to parents, family, friends and siblings who have experienced the devastating loss of a precious baby before, during or shortly after birth.

Touched by OWF’s story, Martin agreed to donate paint to decorate the room at no cost and supplied 5L of Dulux Diamond Matt White, 2.5L of Dulux Diamond Matt Colour and 1L of Albany Acrylic Eggshell Brilliant White. 

Other OWF supporters raised money to purchase furniture items to finish the room including a new day bed, duvet and pillow sets, bedside table, curtains, DVD player, patient bin and new shelving, love ornaments and candles.

The OWF team worked alongside the bereavement midwives to ensure that the room met the needs of all users of this special room.

The room has been beautifully decorated creating a calm and homely decor. Before and after photos have been kept private to respect users of the Willow Room.
