PDA

Painter and Decorator apprentices are the future of the UK painting and decorating industry. To encourage excellence from the start of their career, PDA is challenging apprentices to test their skills against one another in the annual Apprentice of the Year competition.

Entrants will have the opportunity to test and demonstrate their painting skills in a six-hour contest, judged on replicating a design, accuracy, technique and their ability to perform under pressure. Plus, there’s a fantastic range of prizes to be won.

Entries close on 13th February 2026, so be quick! Visit the PDA’s website to complete the entry form and find out more about the competition.

We wish all entrants the very best of luck!
