A New Mural Comes To Reading!
July 21st, 2025
We were thrilled to get
involved with the project titled “Vibe”, by donating 35L of Albany Smooth Matt
Masonry to muralist and artist, Jenna Fox who was super excited to work on such
a large-scale piece.

As this year’s Reading
Festival approaches, Network Rail gave permission for the mural to be created on
a 35m long underpass on Cowes Lane – right opposite the festival venue that
will see over 100,000 visitors this year.
The mural covers both sides of the tunnel and is also used by
pedestrians and cyclists daily, connecting West Reading to Caversham.
The psychedelic scene has taken inspiration from the local area
as well as the festival itself.
The mural on one side represents the river, meadows, nature and
green spaces of Reading.
On the other side, the focus is the Reading Festival. The
headline acts, tents, crowds, music and two motifs of an angel and a butterfly
have all been painted, creating the perfect photo opportunity for festival
goers and passers-by.
Only five colours were used throughout the entire mural!
