Renata Kidgell Thanked by Client for Turning a House into a Home

One of the tradespeople selected for our latest Thank Your Local Tradesperson campaign is Renata Kidgell who has been a painter and decorator since the start of the pandemic. 

Renata decided to take the plunge and hand in her notice at her previous job to become an apprentice painter and decorator. Due to the pandemic this was not possible and so Renata took the plunge to set up her own decorating company. Once her Facebook page was set up, the next step was to train, train and train some more! Renata used various online professional resources for support and advice, and then it was time to put everything into practice by redecorating her own home! After Renata’s successful first job to fix and paint a ceiling she never looked back and has had a steady flow of clients through constant recommendations.

Killian Holland nominated Renata as his family needed to move into their new house within two weeks. With the building work had only just completed, Renata worked hard to make sure the house felt like a forever home ready for when the family moved in. 

Renata said ‘When I had a call from Brewers, and they’ve told me that I’d been nominated and that I won! I couldn’t believe my ears and was over the moon as I had never won anything in my life! It felt incredible to be appreciated for the work I do.’

Renata has already used several items from her decorating bundle, she continued “filling knife, tesa tape which is amazing, and the Ultra-Grime wipes are very good, they are always my go to wipes! Most of all, my favourite is the 7in1 tool which is very handy for many different situations.”
