Supporting The Southwick Community Association

The Brewers Foundation were thrilled to support the Southwick Community Association with a donation of supplies to refurbish their building that hadn’t been decorated for over a decade.

33L of Albany and Dulux paint was donated to the association as well as sundries to give the much-loved centre a well-deserved refurb. Soothing greens were chosen and paired with a new wooden flooring to give the centre a warm and welcoming feel.

The Vision:

All residents living in Southwick should enjoy a high quality of life, achieve their economic, social and educational goals, and be part of a strong, prosperous and caring local community.    

The Mission:

1. To manage a community building which provides high quality facilities and a range of activities, that are accessible to all sections of the Southwick community and the wider Adur region.
2. To continuously develop and update the building, to meet the changing needs and expectations of the community, both now and in the future.
3. To provide accommodation for local community groups and public sector organisations to enhance local services for residents, particularly for those people who are disadvantaged, vulnerable or who face difficulties accessing provision appropriate to their particular needs and circumstances.
4. To develop activities that increase participation in civic life, including through providing residents with opportunities for self-development, volunteering and involvement in local decision-making.
