Brewers Eastbourne were thrilled to sponsor St Andrews Prep Colour Run which happened on a very sunny Saturday in the school field and into the woods. The runners had to run under cargo nets, through tyres and brave water pistols all whilst being covered in powdered paint!
Brewers supported the event with a donation so the school could purchase specific coloured paint powder which is safe for children. Over 300 runners took part in the event with many more turning up to show their support and cheer the runners on. The children had so much fun at the event, they ended up running 3 laps of the course for extra paint fun!
The colour run was organised in aid of the Brain Tumour Charity, a charity very close to the school’s heart. The charity’s vision is for a world where brain tumours are defeated with goals to double the survival rates in the UK and halve the harm on quality of life.
