Meeting Future Tradespeople at Lincoln College

Area Development Manager, Lauren Gordon had a great opportunity to meet with the students from Lincoln College to see how the industry could support their future careers. 

Many local businesses from the construction, engineering, hair & beauty, health & social care and computing industries came down to meet the future workforce of their sector. Businesses and students were able to gain a real insight into key areas such as apprenticeships, work experience and opportunities with the college.

Lauren spoke to many students throughout the day and showcased some of the best products and service they can expect to see at Brewers Lincoln. Lauren even had the chance to meet Freddy, the college dog who lends a paw with students’ wellbeing…isn’t he the cutest?

Steph Churcher was also awarded 1st place for a wallpapering and precision decorating assessment, and we were thrilled to be able to award some Brewers vouchers along with other goodies donated by: Premier USA, Axus Décor, Mirka and Bessie’s Prestonett. Steph absolutely loves her course and finds the bigger the challenge, the better! The two runners up also received some Brewers goodies which were presented earlier during class time.
