Water, water everywhere

With many of us trying to reduce the amount of plastic we waste, Brewers is also doing its bit by launching a pilot scheme to offer customers free water bottle refills.

The scheme, which started in October, is being piloted in six stores in the south east region that have a water bottle fountain. The stores are:

Tunbridge Wells

The stores are listed on ‘Refill’ which is an app that allows users to find the nearest place they can fill their water bottles. Each store also has a sticker in their windows to advertise that they offer the service.

In addition, the stores are also offering reusable, high quality stainless steel water bottles for sale – called Klean Kanteen – for any customers who want to buy a water bottle that they can then refill.

So next time you’re feeling thirsty, you know where to go!

‘If just one in ten Brits refilled once a week, we’d have 340 million less plastic bottles a year in circulation!’
