Crown Trade Covermatt is a low VOC content matt finish. A product which is thinned with water and is applied by brush, roller, airless spray or HVLP Spray. 
Suitable for interior use and touch dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable after 4 hours.

Contract Matt is a decorative coating for use on new plaster surfaces. Provides a water permeable finish which allows the substrate to dry. 

Non-wipeable products are not suitable for wiping, washing or scrubbing. Can be applied to coated plaster surfaces without thinning. On new plaster, thin the first coat with water to manufacturers recommendations.

Additional Information

For interior use. Crown Trade Covermatt Drywall Primer has been specialty developed to even out surface porosity on dry lined walls and ceilings. It can also be used as a mist coat for new plaster where access to water is difficult Crown Trade Covermatt Drywall Primer provides the perfect base for first decoration products.

Preparation

Ensure all surfaces are sound, dry, dean and free from dirt oil, grease or other contamination.

Application

Stir well before use. Apply by brush or spray. Apply 1 even coat. For dry lining a good quality medium pile roller is recommended. With airless spray, use a minimum fluid tip size of 0.013"-0.015" with a pump pressure of approximately 2250lb per square inch. Do not apply to surfaces when the temperature is less than 8°C. Do not apply over glue size, clearcolle or PVA. Do not thin, supplied ready for use.

Spreading Capacity

Up to 15m² per litre. Spreading rate dependent on surface texture and porosity.

Drying

Touch dry within 1-2 hours.

Recoatable after 4 hours.

Cleaning

Clean equipment with water immediately after use.

Ensure this pack is stored upright and secure at all times. Crown Paints Ltd cannot accept liability for damage caused by spillage. Do not store below 5°C e; above 40°C
