Additional Information
For interior and exterior use. Crown Trade Red Oxide Primer is a genuine red oxide paint for ferrous metal. It also acts as a good holding primer prior to finishing interior and exterior metalwork.
Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are sound, dry, clean and free from dirt, oil, grease or other contamination, including rust. Prime bare metal with the appropriate Crown Trade Primer.
Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Application
Stir thoroughly. Crown Trade Red Oxide Primer may be applied by brush, roller, conventional or airless spray. Do not use in temperatures below 8°C or in high humidity. Also avoid dew point before or during application.
Spreading Capacity
Approximately 15m² per litre on a smooth surface.
Drying
Touch Dry in 4-6 hours.
Recoatable after 16 hours in good drying conditions.
Cleaning
Clean equipment with a proprietary cleaner immediately after use.
Transportation and Storage
Ensure this pack is stored upright and secure at all times.
