Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8°C or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

Additional information
For interior and exterior use. Crown Trade Universal Metal Primer has been formulated specially for use on most ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloys and suitably prepared galvanised steelwork. It has excellent adhesion and rust inhibiting properties and being grey in colour is especially suitable where a light coloured finish is required.
Preparation
Ensure the metal is perfectly clean, dry, free from oil, grease, rust and millscale. For the preparation of galvanised steelwork prior to painting contact the manufacturer. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable facemask if dry sanding.
Application
Stir well before use. Use as supplied by brush.
Spreading Capacity
Up to 12m² per litre on a smooth surface.
Drying
Touch dry in 2-3 hours.
Recoatable after 6 hours in good drying conditions.
Cleaning
Clean equipment with a proprietary cleaner immediately after use.
Transportation and Storage
Ensure this pack is stored upright and secure at all times.
