Dulux Trade Mouldshield Quick Dry Eggshell is a high opacity, washable mould inhibiting finish for interior walls and ceilings. Contains antifungal technology to prevent the growth of fungi and mould.  

This product has a low-odour, is water thinnable and recoatable in 4-6 hours. Suitable for application by brush or roller, with coverage up to 16sq/m per litre.

Surface Preparation

To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease or wax. Remove and treat any mould, algae, lichen or mould.

Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, and then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth.

Special precaution should be taken during surface preparation of pre- 1960’s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.

Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Treat knots with an appropriate knotting solution. New or bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate primer.

Application

Apply with a brush or roller only. For Health & Safety reasons relating to all fungicidal paints, spray application is not recommended.

Do not use when the temperature is below 10ºC.

Cleaning up

After use, remove as much product as possible from equipment before cleaning with water.
