Usage
Ideal for use in private and public buildings where its low odour properties, combined with ease of application and speed of drying, allow the work to be completed with a minium of disruption.
Preparation
All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Surfaces should be suitably prepared before application. Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper. Hard wall plasters should be scored with coarse glasspaper. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
Application
Stir well before use. Apply one full coat, brushing firmly into the surface. Allow 3 hours to dry under normal conditions before applying the a first coat of Ultra Primer Sealer thinned with up to 20% clean water. required paint finish. For best results, apply by brush as this assists the Porous surfaces should be sealed with primer to penetrate the surface. Alternatively Ultra Primer Sealer can be applied by airless spray. Allow fresh plaster to dry thoroughly before application. Do not apply when air or
surface temperature is below 10°C.
Coverage
Johnstone's Ultra Primer Sealer will cover approximately 10 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted.
Drying time
Touch dry in 30 minutes.
Recoatable after 3 hours.
After use
Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Replace lid firmly. Clean equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
