Armstead Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell is a low VOC content eggshell finish. A scrubbable product which is thinned with water and is applied by either brush, roller, airless spray or HVLP spray. Suitable for interior use and touch dry in 3-4 hours and recoatable after 4-6 hours.  


Armstead Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell is a water-based, durable mid sheen finish for interior plaster and wood. It has longer lasting performance and offers good stain resistance and has a highly scrubbable finish which is ideal for high traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.  

Can be applied over most previously painted surfaces without an undercoat. On new plaster surfaces thin the first coat with water to the manufacturers recommendations. On new wooden surfaces apply over the top of a suitable primer.

    Surface Preparation
    To get the best results with Armstead Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry).

    Application
    Brush, roller or spray.
    STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Armstead Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition, where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be sufficient. When applying water-based paints to surfaces previously decorated with a conventional solvent-based paint, very thorough surface preparation will be necessary. As with other water-based paints, do not use when the temperature is below 10°C. 

    Coverage
    Up to 15m² per litre on smooth surfaces of average porosity.

    Cleaning Up
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with water. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature. When this paint container is empty please ask your stockist about recycling.
