Chalky Matt has a wipeable finish, with a minimal drying time of two hours and reduced residual brush marks for cutting in, offering an unblemished heritage look to your walls and ceilings. Available in 40 perfect heritage hues, every Morris & Co. colour has been inspired by original 19th century logbooks and William Morris designs in the archive. This authentic Morris & Co. colour palette has been made bespoke for every aspiring craftsperson.
William Morris was remembered being “up to the elbow” in indigo as he was trialling the reintroduction of the traditional indigo-discharge printing method at Merton Abbey. Inky Fingers harks back to this moment, where the founder of Morris & Co. was covered in the deeply rich blue colour.
