Chalky Matt has a wipeable finish, with a minimal drying time of two hours and reduced residual brush marks for cutting in, offering an unblemished heritage look to your walls and ceilings. Available in 40 perfect heritage hues, every Morris & Co. colour has been inspired by original 19th century logbooks and William Morris designs in the archive. This authentic Morris & Co. colour palette has been made bespoke for every aspiring craftsperson.

Named after the river which supplied the water to the Morris & Co. fabric printing site at Merton Abbey, the overcast colour evokes the cool tones of the flowing river.
