Blackfriars MDF Primer Undercoat is a low VOC content finish. A product which is thinned with water and is applied by brush. 
Suitable for interior use. It is touch dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable after 4 hours.

Surface Preparation

Ensure the surface to be coated is clean, dry, sound and free from wax, grease or any other contamination.

Exposed ferrous metal should be spot primed with the appropriate metal primer.

Application

  • Stir thoroughly prior to use with a broad stirrer.
  • Can be applied by brush, roller or spray.
  • Two coats are recommended to give best protection.
  • For porous surfaces or if applying by spray the product may be thinned by up to 10% with water.

Clean Up

Remove as much product as possible from the application equipment before washing with water.

Do not empty into drains or water courses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings.
