Creating a Calm Working Space at Home
August 6th, 2021
Whilst more of us are now working from home, creating a calm working space which promotes well-being is hugely important. Deciding which colours to use in your new workspace can make all the difference.
1. Experimenting with cooler muted blues and greens can create a sense of calm.
2. Earthy tones or red and yellow based neutrals are great for creating warmth and provides a real grounding feel to the room.
3. Choose colours that best fit you. To create a calming space, really think about the colours you like and how these colours make you feel.
Pick up some colour cards from your local Brewers Decorator Centre and have a look at the brush out boards in store. Bring some samples home to test the colour in the space you would like to use it. Lighting can have a profound effect on how the colour looks in a room so it’s always best to try a few options.
