Adding Red To Your Interior For The Festive Season

Anger, passion, danger, love or
festive, red is a beautifully emotional colour. Red can be an incredibly
divisive colour, but I think we can all say that when it comes to Christmas, it
is the only colour we can all agree on! Here we have two Albany palettes that
we have created using only reds to show you how red can make your interior look
gorgeously Christmassy.
Bright Red Paint Colours:
When it comes to Christmas, there is
no colour too bright or scheme too bold! Working really well with whites or
other bright colours, a red hue is a great way to introduce Christmas in your
interiors. Three Albany reds that give us all the festive feels are:
Manuscript – Manuscript is a bright red with strong orange undertones for an uplifting feel.
Berry Head – Berry Head is a rich red with a touch of pink for a romantic feel.
Cherry – Cherry is a bold red with hints of orange.
Earthy Red Paint Colours:
A rich blend of yellow and red,
earthier reds feel more grown up and work beautifully with warmer neutrals,
browns and yellows. For a traditional look that has heaps of sophistication,
try these reds:
Claret – Claret is a rich red with
purple undertones.
Zanzibar – Zanzibar is a warming, earthy toned red.
Deepest Ruby – Deepest Ruby is a rich wine shade with strong warm undertones.
