Problem Solver - Multicoloured surfaces

Spray, brush or roller applied coating for high-traffic areas. Typically used where frequent cleaning or graffiti removal is required, often finished with glaze or protective topcoats for added durability.

Preparation

Remove graffiti and stubborn marks. Ensure all graffiti, grease, and contamination are fully removed prior to decorating.

Clean the surface. Wash down thoroughly using a suitable detergent or sugar soap. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry fully.

Abrade the surface. All surfaces should be abraded prior to re-coating. Use 80–120 grit abrasive paper, depending on surface condition, to remove loose or flaking paint and create a sound key for subsequent coatings.

Filler

Fill any cracks, dents, or surface imperfections using a suitable filler. Sand smooth once dry.

Basecoat

Apply a primer/sealer that will key to the surface and promote adhesion.

Topcoat

Apply to all clean, sound, and correctly prepared areas.
