A heatproof enamel produced by heat treatment in a stove, or a paint imitating it.
Preparation
Use 100-grit abrasive paper or a wire brush to remove flaking paint and create a good key. Pay close attention to joints, edges, and previously rusted areas.
Any exposed rust should be cleaned back to bare metal. Spot prime affected areas with a rust-inhibiting primer before full coating.
Basecoat
Apply Bradite One Can as a combined primer, undercoat, and finish. Suitable where the surface will remain decorative only and not subject to high temperatures.
Do not use standard primers. Move directly to a heat-resistant coating designed for high temperatures.
Topcoat
If the surface will NOT be exposed to heat. Finish with Bradite One Can for a durable, professional metal finish.
If the surface will be exposed to heat. Apply Rust-Oleum Stove & BBQ Paint. Designed to withstand high temperatures without blistering or discolouration.
