Breathing New Life Into The Parish of St Paul's and St Luke's, North Thornaby Village Hall

We couldn’t wait to donate some much-needed decorating materials to St Paul's Church Hall that used to be at the heart of the community, but had fell into a state of disrepair since the pandemic.

A range of trade quality products were donated including 80L Brewers Contract Matt, Albany Gloss and a range of sundries to restore the hall back to its former glory.

The vision is to use the space for fellowship groups, youth groups, holiday clubs, playgroups, and committee meetings, exhibitions, drama performances, rehearsals, and concerts, mother and toddler groups…the opportunities are endless!  

Decorating has already begun with the intention to apply for a grant to provide disabled access to the toilets as well as painting the floors and tiles in the space.

After a community survey, it is clear to see there is high demand for the space, so it will be wonderful to see the space put to good use very soon!
