Carve Out Some Time for Halloween Fun with Spooktacular Pumpkin Drilling!

Oh my gourd-ness it’s almost Halloween! Get ahead of the carve and spice things up with this spooktacular pumpkin drilling how-to.
1. Gather your tools and a boo-tiful pumpkin. For this, you will need: a pumpkin carving kit, a pen, a drill, and a bowl. Don’t forget your PPE!
2. Cut the top off the pumpkin to create a lid and scoop out the insides. Why not use the pulp to cook up a Halloween treat as well! We recommend leaving the pumpkin carving to the adults and let children be in charge of the scooping!
3. Draw the outline of the desired shape – it can be as spooky as you like! We went for a bat, but you could opt for a simple pattern which is just as effective. Get the kids involved with the designing!
4. Now it’s time to grab your PPE, as things are about to get messy! Use your drill to create holes in your pumpkin. Different drill bits create different effects, so it’s the perfect time to get creative! Again, this step is best left to adults.
5. Pop a light in the pumpkin, turn down the lights and appreciate your pumpkin masterpiece!
