Working with Antifreeze to Support Their Client

Brewers in Hove and Area Development Manager, Tony Guarino wanted to lend a hand after hearing about Antifreeze’s client wanting to start their own painting and decorating business. As a part of Off The Fence, project Antifreeze provides food, hot drinks, sleeping bags and hygiene items to the homeless through their evening outreach teams and day centre on Portland Road, Brighton.

One of their clients wanted to get back into work by setting up their own painting and decorating business, so Antifreeze popped into Brewers Hove to see if we could help. The team in store were of course more than happy to! They put together a decorator’s starter pack consisting of Brewers Contract Matt, dust sheets, brushes, rollers, t-shirt, bib and brace, a cap, sandpaper, filler and caulk to really help them get started!

Brewers have worked with Off The Fence for a number of years to support them in their mission to see an end to social and spiritual poverty in Brighton and Hove. Last year, we donated £10,000 of Brewers vouchers for decorating projects and Brewers colleagues also took part in The Big Sleep Out to raise vital funds.
