The most popular wax for the pine trade, giving excellent build and shine on pine furniture. Can be applied to bare timber or used over a base stain. Suitable for use under: light fast stains, rich stains, non fade ground stains and water-based stains.
Apply wax using a brush or a clean white lint-free cloth and buff off with another clean cloth. Drying time will be dependent on coating thickness applied and ambient temperature but should be no more than 30 minutes at 20°C.

Mylands Wax Polishes are manufactured using the finest ingredients including Beeswax and Carnauba Wax. Available in clear and a range of wood shades that enhance the colour of the wood and will help to hide any surface scratches. The waxes can be used on most interior wooden surfaces. Do not use dark coloured waxes where they come into contact with pale clothing or cloth. This product is not recommended for use in areas where it will come into contact with excessive water.
Directions For Use
For antiques and pine furniture, apply an even film of wax with a soft cloth, leave for a few minutes and buff. More experienced wax users will leave longer before buffing to increase the shine. Further applications will also increase the shine. For lacquered surfaces use the wax sparingly and buff immediately. On unsealed wood it is best to first apply a coat of Mylands Shellac Sealer, when dry apply wax using 0000 Wire Wool, then buff after a few minutes. Unsealed wood can be waxed without sealing, but this method will give a lower shine.
