Brightening Gloucester One House at a Time

August 7th, 2020

The residents of St Mark Street in Gloucester and local property developer Tash Frootko have joined forces in order to make the street the most colourful it can be. The project has not only encouraged community spirit bringing neighbours closer together, it has also made the street a tourist spot, with many people travelling to snap a shot of all the wonderful colours on display. Tash had previously worked on a similar project in Nettleton Road, Gloucester.

New research has also shown that homes located on a brightly coloured street can greatly improve the value of a home compared to those painted in white, beige or plain brick. To find out more about this research please click here to read the full article.

As you can see, the colours chosen are bright, bold and daring with some fantastic Albany Smooth Masonry paint used. The colours Citrine and Darling are Albany classics and have really played their part in making the street stand out from the crowd!
