A Mitie Donation!

Brewers Darlington were delighted to be able to donate to Mitie’s Social Value Initiative that involved refreshing key areas of South Park in Darlington.

Johnstone’s Metal Paint, Zinsser Allcoat, Hammerite Direct To Rust Metal Paint, Albany Masterdec and Albany Pro Brushes were all donated so Mitie could send a group of volunteers to refresh the bandstand and main gate.

Volunteers from EE also came to the park to help paint the bridge which hadn’t been painted in over a decade.

For Mitie, social value is about creating lasting change, helping people and communities thrive, and knowing when to step back so others can grow.

As a part of Mitie’s brand-new social value strategy, Plan Thrive looks to give back through volunteering and community initiatives amongst a range of other key activities.
