Problem Solver - Mildew
Problem
The term "mildew" is a common term in the paint and coatings industry and is used to describe an unsightly discolouration of a paint film. Mildew is a general term for growth produced by mould fungi.
Stages
Stage 1 - Preparation
Dry brush the surface down using a stiff bristle brush to remove any loose materials
If any mould or mildew is apparent, treat with a suitable fungicidal solution, rinse again with clean water and allow to dry.
Stage 2 - Topcoat
Apply a suitable topcoat

Once the surface is clean and all loose material has been removed, treat with as suitable primer and allow to dry.
