Problem
Building boards or sheet materials are often used in construction they come in several types some cane be fire protection and others moisture resistant others can be cement bonded for specialist boards refer to manufactures recommendations
Stages
Stage 1 - Preparation
Ensure surface is sound dry and clean
If any mould or mildew is apparent, treat with a suitable fungicidal solution, rinse again with clean water and allow to dry.
Brewers recommends:

Albany Fungicidal Wash 1L
- A 1 litre concentrated multi surface treatment to prevent the growth of surface mould on timber and masonry
Make good any defective areas to match existing
Stage 2 - Basecoat
Once the surface is clean and all loose material has been removed, treat with a suitable primer and allow to dry.

Albany Acrylic Primer Undercoat White 1L
- Quick drying, high opacity, for interior and exterior use on softwoods.
Stage 3 - Topcoat
Apply an appropriate topcoat and allow to dry, followed by a 2nd coat to finish.
