Plywood is a sheet material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.
Preparation
Ensure surface is sound dry and clean
If any mould or mildew is apparent, treat with a suitable fungicidal solution, rinse again with clean water and allow to dry.
If surface requires filling where repairs have been carried out use a two-part filler suitable for timber
Basecoat
Once the surface is clean and all loose material has been removed, treat with a suitable primer and undercoat and allow to dry.
